For fall break, my family and I went to Oklahoma. While there, we toured two colleges for my sister. I got to tag along and look at the campuses too. After that, we went to my older brother’s house. It was so much fun to see him and his wife again! The week of fall break happened to full of various celebrations. We had my brother’s birthday, his one year anniversary with his wife, and my dad’s birthday! In addition, my sister-in-law’s birthday is coming up next week. We had so much fun celebrating and spending time with them.
After staying at my brother’s house, we drove for a few hours down to my grandma’s house. She lives in a small town, so there isn’t much to do. However, that gives us time to just relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. My fall break ended with a twelve hour drive back to Colorado. However, my brother and sister-in-law came back with us to spend more time with us and visit her parents!
So many celebrations! I’m glad you have fun. You also have the opportunity to check out lots of colleges with your older sister.

Your break sounds like it was a lot more fun than mine (I was at drivers’ ed). I’ve never been on a college tour before, but I’ve heard they’re really boring. I’m interested to hear your thoughts. I smiled while reading your writing, and I can’t wait to see what else you have to offer in the future!

You’re really lucky to be able to have a lot of things going on during your Fall Break like your brother and father’s birthday. It’s just my habit, but I like to always do something instead of doing nothing at all. You did a good job telling us your story and I hope to see more excellent blogs like this one.

Wow! I didn’t realize how much you and I have in common until reading this! First of all, my brother attends Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma! Also, it happened to be his birthday too over fall break! That’s really cool that you have an older brother. I never knew about him until reading this blog post! Overall, you have really great word choice in your writing!
